Yvette Mimieux is a beautiful actress who embraced hollywood with her talents and appeared in many film and television credits that made an everlasting impression. Her early credits included such films as "The Time Machine" (1960), "Where the Boys Are" (1960, "Light in the Piazza" (1962), "Diamond Head" (1963), "Toys in the Attic" (1963) "Dark of the Sun" (1968), "Jackson County Jail" (1976). During her career she was nominated for two Golden Globe Awards for 1965 "Best TV Star" - Female for her appearance in the TV Serioes "Dr. Kildare" and again for 1971 as Besdt TV Actress - Drama for "The Most Deadly Game". She was an acomplished writer for the Television Movies "Hit Lady" (1974) and "Obsessive Love" (1984) as well as Producer. She starred in two television series of "The Most Deadly Game" and the very glamorous "Berrengers" (1985). She graced the covers of two "Life" Magazines the first in May 9, 1960 and again in October 25, 1963. As the years progressed roles weren't available for women characters and she spent her time guest appearing on many televison movies and series including "The Love Boat" (1984/986), also in the TV movie "Perry Mason: The Case of the Desperate Deception" (1990) and finally in "Lady Boss" (1992). In 1995 she introduced many to Yoga with her Harper's Bazaar Yoga Workout Tape as well as being co-author on the Aerobic Yoga the Cosmic Fountain of Youth. She has had many experiences in her career and in 1992 she retired. She is an anthropologist as well as a real estate investor and is married today to Howard Ruby a successful businessman and makes her home in Los Angeles. She is as beautiful as ever and continues throughout our hearts in many of her movies that can be seen on DVD today.
